PIODE: REPAIRS

In our villages, alps or isolated buildings, the majority of the antique stone roofs have been neglected, leading to persistent water infiltration. However, it is possible to repair all stone roofs by inserting either new or even old slabs, if they are thought to be still sound.

Obviously, this is only possible if the problem concerns only the roof covering (the slabs or the battens). If, instead, one or more of the supporting beams are affected, it is necessary to work on a larger section of the roof.

In this way it is possible to leave the roof with the same aesthetic effect while at the same time repairing leaks.
